ABOUT THE ROLE
As a backend developer at Insera, you will be part of an engaged and competent development team that together builds and further develops Insera's BI system – Insight. The system is used by both private and public organizations for analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, and handles large amounts of data from different systems.
As a backend developer, you will work with:
• Development of backend solutions in C# and .NET to handle large amounts of data and ensure stable and efficient performance.
• Building REST APIs and integrations to ensure smooth data flows between systems.
• Modernizing existing architecture, where we gradually upgrade the technology and improve scalability.
In your work, you collaborate closely with frontend developers, SQL experts, and business consultants, and you have contact with customers to understand their needs. You are part of a team that works agile with daily stand-ups and joins a culture that encourages new ideas, technical innovation, and knowledge sharing. You have great freedom to influence both technology choices and development processes, while receiving support from an experienced team.
WHO ARE YOU?
For you to thrive and succeed in this role, we believe you:
• Have several years of experience in backend development, preferably from different industries and technical environments.
• Are confident in C# and .NET and have experience with REST APIs.
• Have basic knowledge of SQL and can handle stored procedures.
• Are comfortable working in teams and have an unpretentious attitude where you enjoy sharing your knowledge.
• Take initiative and have a curious approach to improving both code and processes.
It's an extra plus if you have experience with:
• Fullstack development or basic frontend knowledge (e.g., JavaScript, CSS, etc.).
• Systems within industry, public sector, or data-driven organizations.
• AI and machine learning, as this is an area we want to invest more in going forward.

Location: Work is performed from the office in Norrköping, with some possibility for remote work approximately 2 days/week.
