The Position
As a licensed physical therapist/ergonomist with us, you are a specialist competence and part of the Avonova team that helps promote good occupational health at our client companies.
You work as a consultant within occupational health with a focus on ergonomic load management and support our clients in their systematic work environment efforts. You conduct assessments of the relationship between exposures in the work environment and musculoskeletal strain disorders at individual, group, or organizational levels, and recommend interventions. The role also includes staying updated on Avonova's internal service instructions, evidence-based methods and current research, as well as contributing to increased knowledge in the field of ergonomic load management within the Avonova team.

Physiotherapy assessment and treatment of work-related strain disorders and conditions
Rehabilitation and coaching
Work capacity assessment - TIPPA
Physical health checks - functional analysis/fitness tests
Medical examination for hand-intensive work - MEBA
Lecturing and training in ergonomic load management and work techniques across various industries
Worksite visits: assessments and adaptations at individual, group, and organizational levels
Ergonomic load risk assessments
Consultative role related to new construction, reorganization, and changed work methods
The relative weight is determined by which clients we have and what their needs look like.
Qualifications
You are a licensed physical therapist/ergonomist, preferably with further education in occupational health and health/ergonomics. It is meritorious if you have TIPPA and MEBA training, as well as experience working with risk assessment methods such as RAMP, KIM1-3, HARM, HAL, and QEC. Ergonomists at Avonova work from an MTO perspective—i.e., human, technology, and organization—and how these factors interact when risks arise in the work environment at our clients.
We are looking for someone who is proactive and takes responsibility for structuring and driving your work forward. You see the big picture and consider the broader perspective in your actions. You are thorough, collaborate easily, and are well aware of goals and quality.
We consider it meritorious if you have worked in occupational health or similar activities and have experience with risk assessments, assessment and advice on work-related disorders, as well as rehabilitation coordination. You are unpretentious and enjoy sharing your knowledge as well as having curiosity to learn from others. It is meritorious if you have experience giving lectures and trainings.
A driver's license and access to your own car are necessary as travel is part of the position. You will be based at our health center in Örebro; work in nearby locations occurs.
