Then the role of Department Manager at Blentagruppen in Mörbylånga could be your next step. About the company Blentagruppen is one of Sweden's largest poultry companies and is behind well-known brands such as Guldfågeln and Ingelsta Kalkon. At the group's facilities in southern Sweden, high-quality Swedish frozen, fresh, and processed chicken and turkey products are produced. Job description As Department Manager for Blentagruppen's day shift production, you will have overall responsibility for leading, managing, and developing the department toward set goals. The role involves broad responsibility for personnel, occupational health, operations, quality, finances, staffing, skills development, and monitoring of KPIs. Leadership is a central part of the assignment. Through present and clear leadership, you create structure in daily operations and ensure that employees have the right conditions, information, motivation, and competence to succeed. You build engagement and accountability in a high-paced operation. The team consists of 2 team leaders and approximately 50-60 employees. You are responsible for running the department efficiently, profitably, and with high quality. This means ensuring planning and execution of production, following up on goals and deviations, driving improvement work, and contributing to long-term development and investments. The role involves close collaboration with the evening/weekend department manager, production management, maintenance, quality, and other support functions. Together you ensure the right quality at the right time, a safe working environment, and production that meets customer requirements, regulatory requirements, and internal standards. You report to the Production Manager in Mörbylånga and are part of the production management team. In the role, you contribute both operationally and strategically—with a focus on people, structure, results, and development. Qualifications We are looking for someone with documented experience leading others, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment. You are accustomed to taking responsibility for both people and results and have the ability to create structure, follow up on goals, and drive work forward through others. We would like you to have post-secondary education in a relevant field, or alternatively experience that the employer deems equivalent. You have good knowledge of occupational health and labor law, as well as an understanding of finances, budgeting, follow-up, and staffing planning. You have experience with quality, processes, and improvement work, as well as knowledge of LEAN or similar working methods. Experience from the food industry and production systems is a merit. Good communication skills in Swedish and English, good IT proficiency, and a valid driver's license are required. Who are you? To succeed in the role, your leadership is crucial. You are confident, clear, and fair in your leadership style and build trust, engagement, and accountability among both managers and employees. You are present in operations and clear about goals, expectations, and follow-up. You thrive in an event-driven environment where conditions can change quickly. With calm, structure, and decision-making ability, you create stability even when the pace is high. You are driven, self-directed, and want to develop people, working methods, and results.
