Renova is seeking an employee with strong customer focus who wants to work hourly shifts at our recycling centers in Kungälv and Stenungsund.
Job Responsibilities
As an employee at our recycling center, you will have varied work alongside pleasant colleagues. The role means you are Renova's face to the public in waste management. Our customers should always feel confident that we handle their waste in the best possible way for the environment.
The work involves active customer service and operating and maintaining the facility in an efficient, cost-effective, and environmentally responsible manner. Since the customer is in focus at our recycling centers, it is important that you provide excellent service. Through guidance and information, customers should learn more about recycling when they leave the facility.
Work is mainly conducted outdoors with some administrative tasks performed in an office environment. Working hours primarily include weekends, though weekdays may occur.
Renova's waste management is in constant development, and you will be part of that development if you work with us. All new employees receive thorough onboarding that includes various training programs. Through a participatory approach, you have the opportunity to learn more and more.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic IT skills
- Good physical condition
- B driver's license
- Good Swedish language skills, spoken and written
- Experience with similar tasks is a merit
- Experience with service and informational work is a merit
- Forklift and wheel loader certificates are a merit
We are looking for someone who is service-oriented and relationship-focused, as a large part of the role involves giving our customers the best possible experience and building long-term relationships. You meet people in an open and positive manner and build trust in every interaction.
You need to be team-oriented, as we work closely together in teams and often solve tasks together. Your ability to communicate and collaborate contributes to a positive work environment and effective cooperation across department boundaries.
The role also requires flexibility. Some periods are more intensive, while others are quieter—then you are expected to shift focus and take initiative in other tasks that develop both you and the business.
We also value that you are responsible and organized. You take ownership of your tasks, ensure they are completed, and contribute to business development through continuous improvements.
