On behalf of our client, Miljonbemanning is now seeking engaged and service-oriented employees to work at recycling centers in Uddevalla and surrounding areas.
As a Recycling Center staff member, you help visitors sort correctly, contribute to order and safety on the premises, and work hands-on with various waste management tasks. This role suits you if you enjoy working with people, varied work tasks, and active outdoor work.
Job Description
As a Recycling Center staff member, you work with the daily operations of the recycling center and contribute to ensuring the facility operates safely, efficiently, and with a service-oriented approach.
The role includes, among other things:
receiving, sorting, and handling waste according to applicable procedures
guiding and informing visitors about correct sorting
helping maintain order and safety on the premises
performing basic maintenance and housekeeping tasks
cleaning, clearing, and handling materials
working in environments where vehicles, machinery, and visitors are present simultaneously
following safety, occupational health, and housekeeping rules
identifying and reporting risks, incidents, and deviations
The work is practical and can be physically demanding. It is therefore important that you enjoy active work and can maintain a service-oriented and professional demeanor even when the pace is high.

have good physical ability and enjoy practical work
can follow instructions, safety procedures, and occupational health requirements
are responsible, punctual, and reliable
have good collaboration skills
can work in environments with vehicles, machinery, and moving people
are flexible and can adapt to the facility's needs
Previous experience from recycling, sanitation, warehouse, logistics, service, or other practical work is a merit. We also place great importance on your attitude, work ethic, and ability to meet visitors in a professional and respectful manner.
For certain assignments at the recycling center, special competence in handling hazardous goods and explosive materials may be required, for example ADR certification. Such requirements apply only where the work tasks require this extended competence.
Other Information
This is a consulting assignment where you will be employed by Miljonbemanning and work at our client's facility in Uddevalla and surrounding areas.
Working hours vary depending on the facility's needs and can occur on both weekdays and weekends. At the recycling centers, working hours include, for example, approximately 06.00–16.00 as well as some evening and weekend shifts depending on location and season.
The work can be physically demanding and takes place in environments with vehicles, machinery, and ongoing operations. Before the assignment starts, a mandatory new employee examination including alcohol and drug testing may be conducted.
