Qualifications Beyond the personal qualities we seek and describe, you need to meet basic requirements to be qualified for the position: Upper secondary school education Good Swedish in speech and writing Driver's license category B To be eligible for the position, you must be at least 18 years old on your start date. This requirement is based on the Swedish Work Environment Authority's regulations AFS 2023:2, chapter 8 and appendix 2, which restricts minors' ability to perform tasks within security-related activities. You must also be of good character*, drug-free, have your finances in order, and be in good health and physical condition to be hired at Avarn Security. Security guard training is a merit for these positions. Other meriting qualifications include experience working in the security industry, certain technical knowledge, additional language skills beyond Swedish and English, and previous experience working in public environments. If you have the right profile for Avarn and you advance in the process but do not already have the required training (VU1, VU2), we will cover your training costs! Security guard training (VU1, 9 days) is conducted by BYA Bevakningsbranschens Yrkes- och Arbetsmiljönämnd. Participation in this is a requirement for employment.
