Working Hours: Varying Work Location: Arlanda Airport Duration: Part-time, indefinite, 6-month probationary period applies Start Date: By mutual agreement Salary: According to collective agreement You'll work at Arlanda Airport in security checkpoints as an airport security officer. Your main responsibility, working together with colleagues, is to ensure that no unauthorized persons pass through security and that all prohibited items are stopped. In this role, it's important that you are attentive, stress-resilient, and have a strong safety mindset. We see you as a responsible person with great focus on your work. The work is physically demanding—you'll be standing and walking most of the day, and there will be some heavy lifting. As a person, you're cheerful and positive and enjoy working with people. You want to ensure everyone receives professional treatment, from the frequent business traveler to families on their first vacation. You can balance security and service, creating a sense of safety for both travelers and colleagues through your strong safety mindset. Employment begins with mandatory 3-week training covering both theoretical and practical components. Avarn covers the training cost, and you'll receive a salary during this period. After completing training and practical work with satisfactory results, you'll have the opportunity to start working. Working hours vary, and you must be prepared to work very early mornings—our most common start time is 03:50. You work shifts according to a fixed schedule, working both weekdays and weekends.
