Do you want to be part of developing the wastewater facilities of the future? We are seeking an Automation Technician who wants to contribute to both investment projects and daily operations. Right now, several exciting initiatives are underway – including a new wastewater treatment plant where you will play a key role. About the Role
As an Automation Technician, your assignment involves developing, configuring, and commissioning control systems for our water and wastewater facilities. You participate in investment projects where you contribute your technical expertise in everything from requirements specification to specifications and documentation for new equipment. You handle troubleshooting and repairs and ensure that our systems function as they should. You are also responsible for creating and updating documentation, such as electrical diagrams, functional descriptions, datasheets, manuals, and procedures.
The assignment involves being involved in the entire chain, from planning through assembly, installation, and commissioning of new control cabinets and facilities in the area. You handle acute operational disruptions when they occur and analyze existing processes with the goal of identifying improvement opportunities and suggesting more efficient solutions. On-call duty may be part of the assignment.
Your Profile
We are looking for someone with experience in automation programming, preferably from water and wastewater, energy, process, or manufacturing industries. You have solid knowledge of PLCs and SCADA/DCS and are accustomed to working systematically with documentation. Experience with El-CAD is a merit but not required.
We believe that to thrive in this role, you are curious, solution-oriented, and have a genuine interest in technology. You are thorough with details, especially regarding documentation and system structure. You work best in a daily routine that alternates between office work and field work, where your technical expertise can shine. Always in close collaboration with both colleagues and external suppliers. You are self-driven, take responsibility for your tasks, and have an easy way of sharing your knowledge in an unpretentious manner.
