Automation Technician Wanted – Share Your Professional Expertise with Others Teknikakademin is seeking experienced automation technicians who want to use their professional knowledge to educate and develop the next generation of technicians. We are looking for someone with solid practical experience in automation, control systems, PLC, industrial systems, and troubleshooting who enjoys sharing their knowledge. You do not need to be a trained teacher. What matters most to us is that you have substantial work experience, can explain things clearly, and have an interest in teaching. About the Position As an instructor at Teknikakademin, you will teach based on the program's established curriculum and learning objectives. You combine the curriculum content with your practical work experience. Teaching may include: Automation and industrial automation PLC programming Control systems and regulation technology Sensors and transducers Electrical engineering and electrical schematics HMI and operator systems Industrial communication systems Troubleshooting, service, and maintenance Practical examples and problem-solving from industry What We Are Looking For Relevant education and/or several years of professional experience in automation. Practical experience from industry, production, or technical facilities. Strong knowledge of PLC and automation systems. Ability to explain technical topics in a simple and pedagogical manner. Willingness to share your experience with others. Ability to follow a curriculum and adapt teaching to meet program objectives. Strong Swedish language skills, both spoken and written. Previous teaching experience is a merit but not required. Flexible Assignment This position may suit you if you already work in the automation industry but want to combine your current job with teaching.
