About the Role
As an automation technician at Elektrobyrån, you'll become part of a cohesive automation team where you work with installation, commissioning, service, and maintenance of automation solutions for industry. The role is broad and varied, where you'll follow projects from building control cabinets to installation and commissioning at customer sites.
You'll work closely with both machine manufacturers and end customers across several different industries, which means no two days are the same. The work includes, among other things, assembly and installation of automation equipment, troubleshooting in control systems and process equipment, service on existing machines, and documentation and self-inspections. You'll also have ongoing customer contact and contribute technical advice in connection with projects and service assignments.
The position primarily involves work in the local area, but travel occurs in connection with installations and commissioning at customer sites around Sweden and sometimes internationally. You'll have an independent role with significant responsibility while also having close support from knowledgeable colleagues on the team.
About You
We're looking for someone with a few years of experience in a role as an automation technician, industrial electrician, or maintenance electrician in industry. You have practical experience with installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of machines or automation equipment and feel confident independently handling assignments at customer sites.
To succeed in this role, we see that you have good technical understanding, a solution-oriented approach, and the ability to adapt to different types of projects and customer environments. You enjoy combining practical work with customer contact and appreciate working in a small group where collaboration, responsibility, and unpretentiousness are important parts of everyday work.
We see that you have a Class B driver's license, good knowledge of Swedish, and the ability to travel on business when projects require it. If you have experience with PLC programming or hold an ECY certificate, that's a plus, but not required.
