The Role
As an automation engineer, you will have a central role in driving societal development forward. You participate in high-tech projects within Energy, Industry/Product Development, and Process – and get to work from idea to finished solution.
You will work with, among other things:
PLC programming and control of machines, products, and systems
Systems engineering and dimensioning of control systems
Selection of components: sensors, motors, drives, panels, etc.
Development of HMI and user interfaces
Feasibility studies, analyses, and technical investigations
Technical support to customer and production
Ensuring that projects comply with standards, norms, and customer requirements
Participation in FAT/SAT and commissioning
Conduct of risk and safety analyses
Here you have the opportunity to work with both new development and modernization of products and machines, often all the way from concept to deployment.
Your Background
Higher education in automation
At least 3 years of experience with PLC programming and systems engineering
Experience with control systems such as Siemens, Mitsubishi, Allen Bradley, Beijer, Beckhoff, Omron, and others
Experience from production environments
Merits: commissioning, electrical design, and automation within energy (hydropower, wind, nuclear, solar)
Languages: Swedish & English – fluent in speech and writing
Base Location: Gothenburg
