Our client is now seeking an Automation Engineer who wants to be part of developing the next generation of electrical systems for their crane solutions.
Working as an Automation Engineer
The client is a global leader in load and cargo handling solutions within the marine and offshore industry. The company offers an international work environment with strong focus on innovation, quality, and sustainable development. Here you'll have the opportunity to work with advanced products used worldwide while developing alongside experienced colleagues in a technology-driven organization. As an Automation Engineer, you will contribute to the development of modular and reusable electrical systems for crane products. The role combines electrical design, product development, and collaboration with suppliers, production, and other technical functions.
The Team
You will become part of a competent development team with strong focus on R&D and product development. The team works closely with both internal and international contacts and consists of designers, specialists, and engineers who together drive the development of future crane solutions.
The position is located in Örnsköldsvik.
Your Responsibilities
Design and development of electrical systems according to applicable standards and regulations
Electrical hardware design in 3D CAD environment
Creation and maintenance of electrical schematics, datasheets, and technical documentation
Development and maintenance of modular electrical systems
Participation in FAT, SAT, and testing activities
Participation in R&D and product development projects
Collaboration with suppliers, sub-suppliers, and procurement organization
Management of technical questions from production, aftermarket, and commissioning
Participation in installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting as needed
What We're Looking For
A degree or master's degree in electrical engineering, electrical power engineering, or automation
Early in your career, preferably with 0-3 years of relevant experience
Strong interest in electrical design and technical product development
Knowledge of electrical calculations and electrical systems
Experience with or interest in CAD tools
Structured, curious, and solution-oriented approach
Enjoy collaborating with different functions and contacts
Strong English skills, both spoken and written
