During 18 months, we want to give you solid clinical competence. The available time is distributed as follows: 4.5 months in surgical specialties, 4.5 months in internal medicine. During three months of psychiatry service, you will be placed in Ystad and in Malmö or Lund for inpatient care and on-call service. Your service in general medicine over six months will be at a health center in southeastern Skåne (Ystad, Skurup, Tomelilla, Sjöbo, Simrishamn municipality). In the comprehensive introduction and weekly ongoing theoretical training, you will receive structured instruction. In addition, theme days are arranged on topics such as infections, antibiotic selection, and insurance medicine. All AT doctors are offered the opportunity to participate in Region Skåne's AT conference for two days at Ystad Saltsjöbad. To ensure your AT is well-planned and functioning, there is a team consisting of an AT director, overall study director, and AT coordinator at your disposal. In addition to these, each clinic has an AT-responsible doctor and a personal mentor who ensure you receive good supervision. Our primary task during your 18 months of service is to provide you with solid clinical competence that follows the objectives for AT doctors. Previous service as a junior doctor within Swedish healthcare is a merit. Swedish language skills at least corresponding to level C1 according to the Council of Europe scale are required. Applicants with education outside the EU must complete the course Society and Constitutional Law/Constitutional Law with a passing grade before starting AT service. The course does not need to be completed before the interview. We recruit AT doctors with the hospital's future competence supply in focus and therefore place great importance on you having personal maturity, judgment, empathy, and collaboration skills in addition to formal qualifications. We also see that you are engaged, initiative-taking, communicative, and that you have leadership qualities. Local connections can be a merit. NOTE! Specify title, activity, and period of employment. * Personal letter where you have the opportunity to present yourself and explain why you are interested in AT in Ystad. * Medical degree. If you do not yet have a diploma, attach an extract from Ladok or equivalent. * If you have studied medicine abroad, you must attach a decision from Socialstyrelsen that you are eligible to apply for AT and a certificate that your Swedish language skills correspond to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe scale (unless you completed your secondary education in Sweden). * If you have a valid work permit from Migrationsverket that enables AT service, attach this. * Provide at least two reference persons who know how you function in clinical service. If you do not have clinical experience, specify persons who can assess you in another employee role. NOTE! If you have attached a letter of recommendation, remember not to use the same person as a reference. Any other merits you cite must be supported by documentation at any interview. An extract from the suspicion and criminal record register will be obtained before any employment. We have interviews on October 9 and 12.
