We provide acute internal medicine care and specialized planned surgical care with a primary catchment area of Landskrona - Svalöv. WORK TASKS We now welcome six resident physicians (AT-läkare) with start date 2027-02-15. The available time is distributed as follows: six months in internal medicine, three months in psychiatry, three months in surgical specialties including emergency care, and six months in general medicine at one of the health centers in the Landskrona - Svalöv catchment area. The AT position begins with a two-week introduction. You will have a supervisor at each placement. As a resident physician, you will be offered the opportunity to attend the AT conference during your AT, and you will also be offered STRAMA training, a course in insurance medicine and sick leave certification, as well as an emergency course. These trainings are arranged by Region Skåne. Ongoing local lectures are also arranged during your AT. Working hours involve scheduled regular working time: Monday - Friday. Night on-call duties occur. To ensure your AT is well-planned and functioning effectively, there is a team consisting of an AT director, supervising study rector, and AT coordinator. Our primary task during your service is to provide you with strong clinical competence that follows the learning objectives for resident physicians. More information about AT can be found at http://vardgivare.skane.se/kompetens-utveckling/at QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who has a Swedish medical degree or a decision from the National Board of Health and Welfare (Socialstyrelsen) authorizing you to perform AT. Service as a junior physician within Swedish healthcare is a merit. Swedish language skills at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's level scale is a requirement. Applicants with education outside the EU must have completed the course in Civics and Constitutional Law/Constitutional Law with a passing grade before starting the AT position. However, the course does not need to be completed before the interview. We recruit resident physicians with the hospital's future competency needs in focus and therefore place great emphasis on you possessing, in addition to formal qualifications, personal maturity, judgment, empathy, and collaboration skills. Furthermore, we see that you are engaged, initiative-taking, communicative, and that you have leadership qualities. IMPORTANT! If you have studied medicine abroad, you must attach the decision from the National Board of Health and Welfare (Socialstyrelsen) that you are eligible to apply for AT and a certificate that your Swedish language skills meet at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's level scale (unless you completed your secondary education in Sweden). * If you have a valid work permit from the Swedish Migration Agency (Migrationsverket) that allows AT service, you must attach this. Interviews will be held on October 6, 2026. Interviews are conducted in collaboration with SYLF and we strive for fair recruitment practices.
