Lasarettet i Enköping Welcome to apply for your AT (general practice training) with us! We are recruiting 6 AT positions for 21 months of service. As an AT physician, we offer you an active role in daily operations where you will quickly immerse yourself in hands-on patient care. Our goal for your AT service is to provide you with a solid clinical foundation for your future professional development. AT physicians are an important part of the physician team at Lasarettet i Enköping. Block Plan – 21 months • Surgery 6 months: Surgery/orthopedics/urology/anesthesia, emergency department. • Internal Medicine 6 months: Ward, emergency department, IMA. • Psychiatry 3 months at Akademiska sjukhuset: Ward or outpatient clinic and emergency psychiatry for adults. • Primary Care 6 months: Placement at a health center within Region Uppsala (placement preferably in Enköping's catchment area but may be anywhere in the region). • On-call duty at the emergency department is included during the surgical (weekend shifts), internal medicine (weekend shifts), and psychiatric placements (weekend and night shifts). You will never be on call alone at night; only occasional shifts in psychiatry (with a licensed physician on-site). Voluntary shadowing on night calls in surgery and internal medicine is offered. Education Time is allocated for lectures/training/independent study regularly at all service periods (except summer break). Two paid courses are offered during the first year. One regional study day per term. Adult and pediatric CPR A, CPR S, Early detection and treatment. Trauma simulation at the clinical training center. Opportunity to participate in SMART in situ simulation at the emergency department. Space permitting, you may attend the annual AT conference. One elective shadowing week (
