Are you an engaged and driven nurse with training in asthma/COPD and an interest in development, teamwork, and close patient interactions? Then you might be our new colleague! Karla Health Center is centrally located in western Örebro and has approximately 10,500 registered patients. Around 50 competent and engaged employees work together here to provide our patients with safe and high-quality care. We have all professions gathered at the health center and actively work on developing our operations and new ways of working. With us, you get the opportunity to work independently within your specialty area while being an important part of our team. We strive to combine a good work environment with high patient safety and offer accessible and nearby care to our patients. Duties Work as an asthma/COPD nurse involves independent clinic work with the patient in focus. You are responsible for assessment, treatment, follow-up, and patient education within asthma and COPD care. The work includes, among other things, spirometry, counseling, medication follow-up, and support to patients in self-care and lifestyle changes. The position also includes standard health center work such as telephone counseling, clinic work, and collaboration with other professionals. We meet our patients through physical visits, phone, and digitally via 1177 Direkt/Clinic24. We are looking for you who wants to contribute to the development of our operations and who enjoys working in a team with the patient's best interests in focus. Qualifications We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse or district nurse with training in asthma/COPD. It is meritorious if you have experience working in primary care and the Cosmic medical records system. You have good collaboration skills, are communicative, and find it easy to create good interactions with both patients and colleagues. You are flexible, responsible, and see development and change work as a natural part of your work. We place great importance on personal suitability. Application Your application should include a CV and cover letter. Certificates, grades, diplomas, and other documents should be submitted at a possible interview. If you are or have previously been employed by Region Örebro County, we will take internal references from your current or former manager if you become a candidate for employment. Background checks from the Police Authority may be conducted in accordance with current legislation. As an employee of Region Örebro County, you are covered by secure collective agreements. The area includes primary care operations with health centers, health center emergency services, youth clinic, healthcare advice, asylum and immigrant health, general specialized care at the county's three hospitals and geriatric clinic, and services within rehabilitation and medical aids. By expanding collaboration between health centers, specialized hospital care, and the county's municipalities, we create even better care—always with the patient's best interests in focus. Region Örebro County is one of the county's largest employers. Together with 11,000 colleagues, you can create a better life for those we exist to serve. With us, there are meaningful and socially important jobs where you can make a difference in residents' daily lives, health, and quality of life.
