Our active and cheerful 23-year-old is seeking personal assistants. Based in Borås, he has autistic traits, epilepsy, and an intellectual disability. He does not have verbal speech but communicates through body language. He loves being outdoors in nature and swimming. About the Position: We are looking for someone with experience in care, and it is a merit to have knowledge of autism. We are seeking hourly employees with the possibility of a part-time position on a fixed schedule. You will be his extended arm and help him throughout his daily life. The work involves assistance with personal care, household tasks, cooking, shopping, activities, and more. He is active and loves being outdoors, taking walks, and swimming at pools and lakes. Since he loves swimming, you must be able to comfortably spend time in the water with him. We are looking for someone who can work with low-key interaction, be flexible, and adapt your work to the customer's needs and take own initiative. You should be in good physical condition as heavy lifting may occur, and he goes for daily walks. Employment Terms: The customer has round-the-clock assistance with a 6.5-hour waiting period per night. Working hours vary—day/evening/night—so you should be comfortable working nights.
