Ocab is Sweden's largest damage restoration company and we are growing. We are now looking for an Asbestos Technician to join our operations in Karlshamn who wants to help more customers with decontamination, demolition, and value recovery services.

About the role
As an Asbestos Technician, you will work on-site at our customers' locations with, among other things:
asbestos decontamination following fire and water damage
asbestos decontamination during renovations and remodeling
PCB decontamination
demolition and other decontamination-related assignments
At Ocab in Karlshamn, you will use your asbestos decontamination expertise in a varied daily routine with both independent assignments and teamwork. We combine professional craftsmanship, safety, and quality to preserve values and assist our customers.
As an Asbestos Technician, you are an important part of the customer's recovery journey following damage. You work proactively and safely, deliver with high quality, and ensure that every customer receives professional treatment – from initial contact to project completion.
Qualifications
We believe that to succeed in the role of Asbestos Technician, you:
have experience in asbestos decontamination
have training and a valid fitness certificate for asbestos decontamination or are willing to obtain one
have knowledge of demolition, construction, and building systems
are handy and enjoy physical work
have a class B driver's license
can communicate well in Swedish
work carefully, in an organized manner, and take responsibility
enjoy collaborating but can also work independently
Experience with PCB decontamination, demolition, or other related activities is an advantage.

Practical information
Scope: The position is full-time, permanent, beginning with a probationary period.
Location: Karlshamn We are looking for someone who lives in Karlshamn and the surrounding area and who enjoys working on-site on various assignments in the region. Work is primarily in the local area, but you will also collaborate with and sometimes support other Ocab offices.
