The Care and Social Services Administration with its approximately 1,500 employees is one of the administrations in the City of Mölndal and encompasses elderly care, support services for people with disabilities, and health and medical care. The Economics and Administration Unit consists of 12 engaged employees with various competencies and experiences. We are a cohesive team that enjoys working together and help each other when needed. Together, we provide qualified support to the entire administration in budget and financial monitoring, accounting, staffing planning, board administration, records management and archives. We are now looking for an archivist for a permanent position at the Care and Social Services Administration in the City of Mölndal. 1 position(s). WORK TASKS As an archivist, you have an important role in developing and quality-assuring the administration's information management. You work both strategically and operatively and serve as a resource to managers and employees on matters related to archives, information management, preservation and disposal. The role includes, among other things, to: • provide advice and support to the organization on archive and information management issues • educate and guide managers and employees in information management • develop and revise policy and support documents in this area • develop and revise the administration's information management plan • organize, catalog, care for and dispose of physical archive materials • plan and conduct deliveries to e-archives and the city archive • search for and provide documents to case handlers • handle classified documents and make assessments based on applicable regulations • contribute archive expertise in the administration's development work and in changes that affect information management • when needed, contribute to other common work tasks within the administration unit, such as mail handling and registration. You will have many contact points and work closely with the operation's managers and employees as well as the city's central functions, including the city archive. The role therefore involves both independent responsibility and close collaboration with others. A prioritized task in the coming period is to revise and develop the administration's information management plan. The work includes, among other things, mapping information flows together with the organization, collecting and quality-assuring materials, and ensuring that information is managed in a uniform and appropriate manner. The administration is also facing a move of archive materials to new premises at the turn of the year. Depending on when you assume the position, you will be involved to varying degrees in the work of moving the materials. The administration handles, among other things, patient records, personal files, decision materials, contracts and quality documentation. The work encompasses both digital and physical documents, and much of the information is classified. You therefore have an important role in ensuring that information is handled legally, is accessible and is protected. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who have a strong interest in archives and information management. To thrive in this role, you are organized, thorough and quality-conscious. You take responsibility for your work tasks and have a good ability to work independently, while being service-oriented and having an easy time collaborating with others. For the position, you must have: • academic education equivalent to a bachelor's degree (180 higher education credits), of which at least 60 higher education credits in archives and information science or other education that the employer deems equivalent • at least one year of experience in qualified archival work • good digital skills and experience working with the Office package • very good ability to express yourself well in Swedish in speech and in writing. It is advantageous if you have: • experience in archives and information management within municipal or other public operations • experience working with classified documents • experience developing or revising information management plans or equivalent policy documents • experience with digital information management and deliveries to e-archives We offer you a developmental and stimulating job where you get the opportunity to influence and develop information management in a large and socially important operation.
