Your role As an archivist, you have an important role in developing and quality-assuring the administration's information management. You work both strategically and operatively and serve as a support to managers and employees on matters relating to archives, information management, preservation and disposal. • provide advice and support to the organization on archive and information management matters • educate and guide managers and employees in information management • develop and revise steering and support documents in the field • organize, catalog, maintain and dispose of analog archive material • plan and implement deliveries to e-archives and city archives • locate and provide documents to case handlers • handle classified documents and make assessments based on applicable regulations • contribute archival expertise to the administration's development work and changes that affect information management • when needed, assist with other common administrative tasks, such as mail handling and journal entries. Your competence and experience We're looking for someone who has: • at least a bachelor's degree with a minimum of 60 credits (40 points under the old system) in archives and information science • good knowledge of the laws and regulations that govern the handling of public documents in public administration • several years of current experience working with information management • good digital competence and experience working in the Office suite • good communication skills and express yourself well verbally and in writing. It is also advantageous if you have: • experience working in the public sector • experience working cross-functionally and creating collaboration between different areas of expertise. As a person, you have the ability to listen, analyze and concretize, and adapt your way of communicating your message to the recipient. You are collaboration-oriented and find solutions together with others. You are also responsible, structure your approach and drive processes forward, and have the ability to independently deliver high quality work. You are driven by development and have an innovative mindset that helps develop the organization.
