No. 90011524360) institution Riga City Municipality Department of City Development invites applications for a vacancy in the Architecture Department Cultural Heritage Protection Division Senior Architect position The Riga City Municipality Department of City Development is the leading institution of Riga City Municipality in the field of strategic development of Riga city, ensuring balanced capital development planning and promoting the competitiveness of the city's economy. We will entrust you with: evaluating, coordinating and accepting construction projects, explanatory documents and other construction documentation in accordance with legal requirements, in case of non-compliance, preparing a reasoned and legally substantiated draft decision on requesting information and extending or refusing the decision-making deadline; preparing drafts of responses, administrative acts and certifications; preparing draft decisions on conducting public consultations on construction intentions and participating in the review and evaluation of public consultation materials; preparing and providing suggestions for drafting regulatory acts; participating in the work of various working groups, councils and commissions; providing consultations to natural and legal persons on matters within the division's competence and helping to resolve them. We expect from you: higher education in architecture (diploma in level 2 higher professional education in architectural studies program with acquired architect qualification); relevant professional experience in the field of cultural heritage protection (will be considered as an advantage); desirable work experience in state or municipal institutions; high sense of responsibility and ability to work in a team; knowledge of the state language at the highest level.
