Clinica Vintersol is a rehabilitation facility on southern Tenerife, designed primarily for people with neurological and rheumatological diseases as well as psoriasis. We have 71 rooms with up to 100 inpatient beds and an outpatient department serving approximately 40-50 patients daily during winter, most with neurological or rheumatic diseases. Our patients come mainly from Norway or Sweden, with many financed by the Norwegian Rikshospitalet, though other nationalities including Spanish, German, English, and Italian are also represented. We are looking for you: who has at least two years of experience as an occupational therapist and is interested in the aforementioned diagnostic groups who can work independently and take good initiative who is experienced in working as part of a team with other professional groups who can support patients in taking responsibility for their own rehabilitation who is interested in leading diagnosis-focused information sessions for your patients who is computer-savvy and experienced in electronic patient records who appreciates the charm of living and working in a different culture with all that entails who handles stress well and manages a sometimes high workload who is service-oriented and has a positive attitude who is flexible and solution-oriented We offer a very pleasant environment with wonderful weather. Qualifications Licensed occupational therapist, preferably with previous experience in rehabilitation and/or outpatient work. Knowledge of Spanish is important and a merit but not required. Great importance is placed on personal suitability, proven organizational skills, flexibility, positivity, and high stress tolerance. This is a fixed-term position with a minimum duration of 8 months but with the possibility of reemployment for upcoming seasons. Salary: approximately 27000 euro gross/year for a full-time position. Free meals during work hours are included and are not subject to benefits taxation. You will be employed by a Spanish company and taxes and social contributions will be deducted from your salary. We also help arrange accommodation if you wish. Your working hours will be 40 hours per week according to an established schedule. You will work daytime hours.
