The Rehabilitation Unit is part of the Social Services Department and consists of seven occupational therapists and six physiotherapists. We work in close collaboration with other staff within care and services at the municipality's special housing, short-term housing, home healthcare, and home services, as well as for persons receiving services under the LSS (Act Concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). We work throughout Härjedalen and operate from the locations Funäsdalen, Hede, and Sveg.
Work location: Sveg. The position is a temporary contract at 100% with the possibility of extension.
Recruitment and interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis during the application period. Start date by agreement.
Responsibilities
You will work with assessment and training in activities as well as guidance and instruction to patients, relatives, and care staff.
The duties also include housing adaptations and assistive device prescriptions.
Qualifications
Requirements:
Licensed occupational therapist or licensure obtained by the agreed start date.
Category B driver's license.
Fluency in Swedish, both spoken and written.
A criminal record clearance is required to work within elderly care and services for adults with functional impairments.
Meritorious:
Previous experience from municipal operations in both elderly care and LSS services.
Completion of advanced training in transfer techniques.
Beyond adequate education and experience, strong emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
