We at Occupational Therapy Specialty Care Gästrikland are a dynamic team of 24 occupational therapists and three rehabilitation assistants working together to facilitate and improve daily life for our patients. We serve 16 care units and operate seven outpatient clinics, including hand clinic, lymphedema clinic, and pediatric clinic, and we take pride in our high standards and focus on patient well-being. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Depending on your experience and competence, you will play a key role in outpatient care, inpatient care, or both. We support each other in daily work and you will receive good mentoring from experienced colleagues and excellent opportunities for professional development. If you are new to the profession or have limited experience, you will have the opportunity to initially try different areas to broaden your knowledge. As an occupational therapist with us, you will work with • assessment, treatment, and training of activity capacity and function • provision and prescription of assistive devices • education and consultation to care staff • collaboration with the various units/departments that we work with. In the role of occupational therapist, you should • be a licensed occupational therapist. For these positions, it is meritorious if you have experience in stroke rehabilitation, orthopedics, or medical lymphatic therapy, but this is not a requirement.
