Rehab Väst is a unit within primary care in western Östergötland that offers high-quality rehabilitation to patients in the western part of the region. Our mission is to provide the people of Östergötland with safe, quality-assured, and equitable rehabilitation regardless of where in the region they live. We currently operate at Hospital in Motala, in Mjölby, and at several health centers in the western part of the region. Rehab Väst has just over 80 employees distributed among physiotherapists, occupational therapists, counselors, speech-language pathologists, and administrators. We offer rehabilitation in inpatient care, outpatient care, and primary care. Within Primary Care in the West, there is close collaboration between units, which creates good conditions for development, participation, and cooperation with other healthcare providers. We also work closely with other rehabilitation organizations in the region. Job Description We are now seeking an additional occupational therapist for the inpatient care group at Rehab Väst. We work with the medical specialist clinic (MSK) at the geriatric acute care unit (GAVA), medical acute care unit (MAVA/MOA), heart unit, stroke unit, and palliative unit. The work involves close collaboration with occupational therapist colleagues, physiotherapists, and other members of the department team. You will have a primary placement that takes into account the group's composition as well as your competence and experience. The role as an occupational therapist involves assessing and rehabilitating patients, developing rehabilitation plans, and participating in rounds. In your role as care coordinator, you have a key role in keeping the team together and in informing, planning, and preparing for discharge. The care coordinator role also includes coordinating the professions that are relevant so that the patient can feel secure about discharge. We document in the journal system Cosmic. The immediate work group consists of approximately 17 colleagues with the professions of occupational therapist and physiotherapist. About You We are looking for you as a licensed occupational therapist. Experience in rehabilitation in inpatient care and/or care coordination is meriting. The work requires that you have good knowledge of Swedish. To thrive and fit in with us, your personal qualities are important. As a person, you are flexible, empathetic, and have good collaboration skills. You are also structured and can plan your work. You are confident in yourself.
