Welcome to Rinkeby Care and Housing Facility Rinkeby Care and Housing Facility opened in 2023 and consists of 10 units with 9 apartments per unit. Two of these are short-term units. The operation is being gradually expanded with care and housing services within dementia and somatic care. We are now looking for an occupational therapist who wants to help continue developing safe and secure care and support at both the short-term unit and other units. Your role as an occupational therapist As an occupational therapist you will work in a team in close collaboration with a physiotherapist, nurse and care personnel. Your assignment as an occupational therapist includes both independently and together with colleagues and other professional categories being responsible for activity and functional assessments, assistive device prescriptions, fall prevention, documentation as well as guidance and training of care staff. You will work with both short-term care and care and support. Your competence and experience We are looking for you who: Are a licensed occupational therapist Have at least 2 years of experience working within elderly care Have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written We would like to see that you have a rehabilitative approach and a strong interest in older people. We want you to be stress-resistant, responsible and flexible. You have good teamwork skills, are service-oriented, have great commitment and enjoy working independently. We value personal qualities and your attitude that work within elderly care is an important mission rather than experience in the profession. Other information You will be employed within Järva Elderly Care with primary placement at Rinkeby Care and Housing Facility. Since we work in a shared organization, work may also occur at other units within Järva Elderly Care based on the needs of the operation. Working hours are 07:30–16:00, Monday to Friday. Interviews will be held on an ongoing basis. In this recruitment you may need to show an extract from the criminal record register.
