There's a lot happening on our unit right now and we're developing both our work methods and our services. We're looking for an experienced occupational therapist who wants to contribute your knowledge while having the opportunity to influence and develop the work together with engaged colleagues. We're currently seeking an occupational therapist for our special housing facilities for older adults. Through teamwork, you and your colleagues work closely with staff at our facilities. To help you focus on your work as an occupational therapist, you'll receive support from our rehabilitation assistants with administration, prescribed training, and assistive devices. We have employees with varying levels of experience and see the strength in learning from each other. WORK DUTIES As an occupational therapist, you work to strengthen people's independence in everyday life. You get to know the people we serve and follow their development over time. Our employees are appreciated and many request our support. In this role, you'll work closely with physiotherapists, both as partners and in smaller teams. You'll also collaborate with nurses, care staff, and other professionals. We're looking for someone who wants to use your experience to make a difference, not only in meeting the people we serve but also in developing our collective expertise. You'll have the opportunity to introduce and guide colleagues who are new to the profession, share your experiences, and contribute perspectives that strengthen the team's work. The role also includes supervising students during their work-based training (VFU). You plan your own workday and have the opportunity to influence and develop our work. We believe that you, with several years of experience as an occupational therapist, bring experiences and knowledge that can help develop our work methods. At the same time, we want to give you room to continue developing and deepening your own expertise. QUALIFICATIONS We're looking for someone who has a Class B driver's license and is a trained occupational therapist with Swedish credentials. You have experience working as an occupational therapist and feel confident in your professional role. It's an advantage if you have experience from municipal services, but it's not a requirement. As a person, you're attentive, easy to collaborate with, and enjoy sharing your knowledge and experiences. You're also unpretentious and recognize that there's a lot to learn from each other, regardless of how long someone has worked in the profession.
