JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Communal Primary Care Rehab Team 4 is organized within the Care Administration but works with target groups within the Social Services operational area. One focus in the team is toward LSS activities and another focus is toward social psychiatry services. We are now seeking an occupational therapist with a focus on LSS.
The target group in this position is persons with disabilities with LSS decisions. In this position, 20% of the work consists of ADL assessments on behalf of social workers. You will initially be replacing a colleague on leave, and the focus and placement may subsequently change based on what needs exist within Communal Primary Care.
In the team, you work with occupational therapists, physiotherapists, nursing assistants, rehabilitation assistants, and nurses with a focus on LSS as well as the social psychiatry focus. In your work, you also collaborate with personnel groups, unit managers, relatives/guardians, the region's habilitation services, and social workers.
As an occupational therapist, you work together with the person to enable participation in activities of daily life. You conduct assessments, work with cognitive support, and training in everyday activities. You work with both preventive and compensatory interventions, assistive device prescriptions, and verify the need for housing adaptations. Your work also includes providing guidance and instruction to both the person themselves and to relatives/guardians as well as staff.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who are a licensed occupational therapist.
You are stable, confident, and secure in your professional role. You will work both independently and in a team, which requires that you have good initiative while also being a team player. You value teamwork highly and are genuinely interested in working with a focus on the individual needs of the target group. As an occupational therapist, you appreciate a flexible work approach, varying tasks, and work pace.
Great importance is placed on personal suitability. A driver's license is a requirement.
