What does the job as an occupational therapist at Norlandia Senior Care involve?
As an occupational therapist at Norlandia, you work to strengthen residents' independence, security, and quality of life. You are responsible for occupational therapy assessments, evaluations, and interventions based on a rehabilitative and function-preserving approach.
The role includes, among other things:
performing activity and function assessments
planning, implementing, and following up occupational therapy interventions
prescribing, testing, and monitoring assistive devices
working with fall prevention, transfers, and adaptations in the residential environment
guiding and training care staff in assistive devices, ergonomics, and transfer techniques
participating in team meetings and collaborating with other professional roles
You are part of a multiprofessional team together with, among others, nurses, nursing assistants, a physical therapist, and a manager. The position involves significant independent responsibility and requires flexibility, collaboration, and the ability to prioritize.
About Soltorp Senior Living
Soltorp is a pleasant and peaceful senior living facility in Sollentuna north of Stockholm, at Tingsvägen 24. The facility has 41 apartments distributed across five units. In the surrounding area there are shops, a shopping center, and a train station.

We are looking for you who are a licensed occupational therapist
We would like you to have good knowledge of healthcare regulations
It is a merit if you have previous experience as an occupational therapist in senior care
You must speak Swedish well in both speech and writing
We would like you to have knowledge of documenting based on ICF and KVÅ

Employment type: Permanent position
Scope: 50%
Start date: November
Probationary period: we apply a 6-month probationary period
We use individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews are held on an ongoing basis and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Great weight will be placed on personal suitability.
Before a potential employment, you must be able to provide a certificate from the criminal record registry. You also need to be able to prove that you have the right to work in Sweden by providing documentation that you have EU/EES citizenship or a valid work permit.
