Degerfors Municipality is now seeking an occupational therapist who wants to be part of developing our municipal rehabilitation services. As an occupational therapist, you work to support people in living as independently as possible. The work is varied and includes assessment, training, and assistive devices. Your tasks: • Participate in daily coordination meetings. • Work in both residential care facilities, ordinary housing, and IFO/LSS services. • Assess functional ability in daily activities. • Prescribe, follow up on, and adapt assistive devices. • Conduct housing adaptation assessments and write certificates. • Provide guidance and support to care and nursing staff and family members. • Collaborate with physiotherapists, nurses, and care and nursing staff. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who • Is a licensed occupational therapist. • Can work independently and in a team. • Has respectful conduct and sees opportunities. • Is organized and has good collaboration skills. • Has strong verbal and written communication skills and computer proficiency. • Wants to work in a developing and stimulating environment.
