About the Operation
Smedjebacken Health Center has approximately 7,100 registered residents. We operate a doctor's clinic, laboratory testing, healthcare advice, district nurse clinic, specialist nurses with their own clinics, child health center, midwife clinic, diabetes, blood pressure, asthma/COPD, memory clinic, as well as physical therapist, occupational therapist, rehabilitation coordinator, counseling clinic, risk/substance abuse clinic, and care coordinator for mental health with their own clinic at the health center.
The staffing consists of many different professional categories with broad expertise, and collaboration and utilization of each other's different knowledge is an important part of daily work.
Our operations are Monday through Friday from 08:00-17:00.
Job Responsibilities
We are seeking a licensed occupational therapist for Smedjebacken Health Center.
Occupational therapy in primary care is in an exciting development phase where our expertise is increasingly in demand. We have close and well-functioning collaboration with other professions such as physical therapists, social workers/counselors, doctors, rehabilitation coordinators, nurses, and nursing assistants. Collaboration between professions is essential for development and a well-functioning health center.

Work Areas:
- Hand rehabilitation
- Memory assessment
- Patient and family education (for example, Arthritis school)
- Assistive device fitting
The work involves both individual interventions and teamwork with other professionals, where patient participation and independence are always the focus.

You will receive an overview of the entire health center's operations as well as an in-depth introduction to the different responsibility areas of the occupational therapists. Qualifications
- Licensed occupational therapist
- B driver's license
- Experience in primary care is preferred, but experience from other operations is also meritorious and of interest.
