We are now looking for a temporary occupational health and safety coordinator for Renströmsgruvan who wants to help create conditions for a safe working environment in the mine. You will have an important role in preventing risks, supporting managers on occupational health matters, monitoring regulatory compliance, and investigating accidents and incidents. The role gives you the opportunity to work broadly within occupational health and safety, with great variation between strategic and operational work. You will have the opportunity to influence the occupational health and safety work at Renström, work on continuous improvements, and build a broad network within Boliden. Your Role As an Occupational Health and Safety Coordinator at Renström, you will have a central role in ensuring a safe and secure working environment in the mine. You will work closely with other departments to support and follow up on occupational health matters. You will contribute the right occupational health expertise in all phases through planning, risk assessment to implementation and follow-up during operations. An important part of the role is being close to the operations. You will organize and participate in safety inspections, monitor compliance with safety rules, and support the organization in identifying and managing risks. You will also conduct training and inductions, participate in accident investigations, and contribute to the development of instructions and procedures. You will also inventory and assess risks from chemicals, and plan and carry out occupational hygiene measurements. This is a temporary position for six months starting as soon as possible. You will report to the occupational health and safety manager for mines and be stationed at Renström. In the role, you will support all departments at Renström and work closely with other occupational health and safety coordinators at the Boliden area mines. Your Responsibilities • Provide occupational health and safety support to operations and contractors • Monitor and follow up on compliance with safety rules • Lead and support risk analyses • Support accident investigations and provide IA support • Conduct safety training and inductions • Close collaboration with safety representatives on site • Close collaboration with other occupational health and safety coordinators at the Boliden area • Create training materials and assist with occupational hygiene measurements • Participate in regulatory compliance inspections and promote good dialogue on occupational health • Chemical risk assessments, work in Chemsoft Your Contribution To thrive in this role, we believe you are someone who enjoys being close to operations, building relationships, and at the same time dares to set requirements when needed. You are confident in communicating occupational health matters with both managers and employees and have a solution-oriented approach.
