Your role with us We are now recruiting an Occupational Health and Safety Engineer to Nobia Park in Jönköping who wants to help strengthen safety efforts in one of Europe's most modern kitchen factories. In this role, you will drive systematic occupational health and safety work and work both strategically and operatively to create a safe workplace for everyone at Nobia Park. You are an important specialist function and support managers and operations in occupational health and safety matters while advancing our safety culture. The goal is clear: through proactive work, identify and reduce risks and learn from incidents that occur to create an even safer work environment. As an Occupational Health and Safety Engineer, you will, among other things: Drive and develop systematic occupational health and safety work and contribute to a strong and sustainable safety culture. Conduct risk assessments, analyses, and investigations and translate results into concrete improvement measures. Lead investigations of accidents, near misses, and risk observations to ensure learning and preventive work. Support, coach, and train managers and employees in occupational health and safety matters. Ensure that operations comply with applicable legislation, regulatory requirements, and internal guidelines in the occupational health and safety area. Placement location The position is based at Nobia Park in Jönköping and you report to the QEHS Manager. The role is primarily on-site in the operation since a large part of the work takes place close to production and the organization. What you need to succeed in this role We are looking for someone with experience in qualified occupational health and safety work who wants to help develop a strong safety culture in an operation with high ambitions. To succeed in this role, we see that you have: Education as a Safety Engineer or university/college education in occupational health and safety, engineering, or similar field. At least five years of experience in occupational health and safety work. Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety legislation and systematic occupational health and safety work. Experience with risk assessments, incident investigations, and improvement work. Ability to drive change and influence people at different levels in the organization. Very strong administrative skills. Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written. Meritorious for the position are specialist certifications in occupational health and safety and certification in ISO 45001 or equivalent management systems.
