Ref: 20262077 We are now seeking a labor market secretary for the Internship and Employer Collaboration Unit. Job Responsibilities Your primary responsibilities will be to procure and coordinate events and short-term internships for Malmö residents, with placements in the public, private, and nonprofit sectors. The purpose is to offer quality opportunities for young people ages 16–19 living in Malmö. You will also maintain contact with the young people and the organizers conducting the events, and lead introductions for the participants before the events. Administrative duties are involved, including documentation, quality assurance, coordination, and follow-up of events and short-term internships. Qualifications We are looking for someone who holds a university degree of at least 180 credits with a focus on behavioral science or social science, or another university degree of at least 180 credits combined with work experience that the employer deems relevant. You have at least two years of relevant work experience. You have experience in relationship-building and contact creation work aimed at establishing and maintaining strong relationships with multiple different partners. You have experience working and documenting in digital tools and working in project form. You must have worked with a process-oriented approach previously. It is an advantage if you have experience working with service, sales, or customer relations. Additionally, it is preferred that you have a broad professional network in the business sector, public sector, nonprofit sector, and similar fields through previous experience. To succeed in this role, you are outgoing, communicative, and unpretentious. You are also solution-focused, independently finding different ways to solve work tasks or questions. You have strong organizational and prioritization skills and can work toward established goals. You express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing, and it is advantageous if you have knowledge of other languages deemed relevant for the operations. You have excellent computer skills and experience working with Office 365. About the Workplace The Labor Market Measures Division is an important actor in Malmö's labor market. We work to strengthen job-seeking Malmö residents' opportunities for employment and help them become self-sufficient through their own efforts or with support from other actors. Within the Labor Market Measures Division, various labor market measures are offered, such as municipal employment positions, work training, education, and internships. The Internship and Employer Collaboration Unit is a unit within the Labor Market Measures Division. Our mission is to provide Malmö residents with opportunities to develop, become better prepared for, and move closer to the labor market through internships. The unit houses several internship activities, including Ung i Sommar, Praktik Service, and PRAO, as well as labor market employment positions. The unit's various operations together provide approximately 10,000 internship and employment placements annually to Malmö residents, from primary school students to adults. The placements are found in private, nonprofit, and public sectors. At Sweden's largest employment and social affairs administration, 2,900 employees work every day to strengthen Malmö residents.
