The Municipal Executive Administration is responsible for several different operational areas. At Employment and Business (AMN), we work with labor market initiatives such as work training, internships, job-seeking activities, coaching/guidance, employment support, and various projects. With us, you work toward the common goal of reducing unemployment and labor shortages. In this project, we work in close collaboration with social services. We work to provide support to people who are far from the labor market. These may be individuals with mental health issues, substance abuse, experience of violence, or various types of disabilities, who today cannot benefit from the employment services' offerings and thus cannot make the necessary transitions. The goal of the work is to reduce isolation and exclusion through the project's individually designed interventions and thereby, together with the participant, drive movement toward self-sufficiency. The work is based on each individual's circumstances to enable their transition from unemployment to internship, employment, or return to studies. At the Employment Unit, there are established processes where different teams work either with employers or with job seekers. The work includes both individual planning and strategic collaboration within the unit and with other partners and stakeholders. Experience We would like you to have experience working with work assessment or work capacity evaluations previously. Previous experience in labor market work is a merit. Qualifications Education You have a university or college education, for example as a behavioral scientist or other relevant education/experience. Training in conversational methods such as MI, BIP, or Supported Employment is a merit. Your personality is important in the selection. You are empathetic and confident with a commitment to employment and education issues as well as an understanding of social vulnerability. You are good at communication and collaboration and contribute to a good working environment. You express yourself well in speech and writing and have good administrative abilities. It is a merit if you have local knowledge of the labor market in the surrounding area and experience in building networks with employers.
