Your Responsibilities
As a supervisor at EKS Sverige AB, you are responsible for leading and coordinating our assignments at the customer site. You plan the work for teams of 2–6 people and ensure that work is carried out according to schedule, quality requirements, and safety procedures.
Your main responsibilities are to:
Plan and distribute daily work for welders and mechanics.
Coordinate personnel, materials, and equipment before and during ongoing projects.
Order materials and ensure that the right resources are in place.
Monitor project progress, quality, and schedule.
Handle documentation and reporting related to assignments.
Be the point of contact with the customer during project execution.
Collaborate with the Umeå workshop on planning and implementation.
Solve practical problems that arise in daily work.
The role involves significant presence in the field where you lead the work on-site and ensure that projects are completed in a safe, efficient, and professional manner.
Your Profile
We're looking for someone with experience from industry, for example as a welder, mechanic, assembler, or in related technical professions. You have a good understanding of practical field work and are ready to take the next step toward a role with greater responsibility.
To succeed in the role, we see that you have:
Experience with welding, mechanics, or maintenance work.
Experience leading, coordinating, or planning work for small work groups is a merit.
Ability to plan and prioritize tasks and manage multiple activities simultaneously.
Good experience with customer contact and collaboration with different functions.
Good computer skills and experience with documentation and reporting.
Class B driver's license.
As a person, you are responsible, structured, and solution-oriented. You are clear in your communication, enjoy making your own decisions, and have an easy time building trust with both customers and colleagues.
