Klockargården is a daily activity service according to LSS (Swedish Law on Support and Service for People with Certain Functional Impairments) located in Järna, Södertälje municipality. We work closely with participants and base our approach on each person's individual circumstances, interests, and potential. We are now looking for a full-time activity leader who wants to become part of our team. We have a strong focus on recycling/reuse, crafts, health and movement, gardening, IT, and art.
About the Position
This activity leader role is varied and flexible. You work in different parts of the operation, based on participants' needs and the service's current tasks.
The work may include:
responsibility for and implementation of individual assignments
guiding and supporting a group of participants in various work tasks
planning and structuring work processes
care work tailored to participants' individual needs
contributing to a safe, stimulating, and developmental work environment
performing hygiene-related tasks
Working in the reception kitchen
close collaboration with colleagues and contributing to the service's development
Documentation and some administrative tasks
Contact and follow-up with decision-makers, authorities, and external partners
We are looking for someone who enjoys switching between different tasks, taking responsibility, working on development, and being close to participants in daily work. You want a varied week that includes working one-on-one, in groups, and in the kitchen. As a person, you are positive, have an infectious drive, want to cooperate with your colleagues, contribute to the good work environment we have, and most importantly, you find it enjoyable and rewarding to work with people in need of adapted and individual support.
Beyond that:
you have a B driver's license – a requirement
Post-secondary education (YH or HP) in care, pedagogy, social work, or equivalent
experience working in LSS, care, pedagogy, or similar services
you are reliable, take responsibility, have high work ethics, and are flexible
you collaborate and communicate easily
you see possibilities and solutions rather than limitations
you can work both independently and with others
you have a genuine interest in people and their development. You find it enjoyable and meaningful.
You are willing to roll up your sleeves and work with all tasks within the scope of the position.
You have good physical fitness as some tasks involve lifting, etc.
