We are now seeking an engaged and responsible work supervisor who wants to work within our labor market unit (Work Center/Reuse/Leisure Bank/Integration). Do you want to become part of us? The Labor Market Unit offers customized services that support individuals in moving forward and into employment, in collaboration with the municipality's other operations, the Public Employment Service, and independent actors, the Social Insurance Agency, Komvux, the Region, as well as local business and civil society. We are a work team that includes Economic Assistance, Integration, Work Center and the labor market initiative Pontibus. Our labor market unit also includes our Reuse operation and Leisure Bank. WORK DUTIES As a work supervisor at Work Center/Integration, you will support and guide individuals who are outside the labor market, to strengthen participants' abilities for future work or studies. The work also includes supporting newly arrived individuals and families in their integration process into Swedish society together with our integration counselor. This can include providing advice on work, housing, language learning and other practical assistance needed for a person to establish themselves in Sweden. The work also includes certain administrative tasks such as documentation, participation in work capacity assessments and assisting with administrative tasks for our counselors. You will also collaborate with other professionals within the labor market unit, the municipality's administrations, authorities and companies. You together with your closest colleagues are responsible for both group activities and practical work training that takes place both at our Work Center and at workplaces where participants have internships. It is therefore required that you are pedagogical, creative, flexible and preferably handy and/or not afraid to try new things. QUALIFICATIONS It is important that you have a professional approach since the work involves meetings with people who are in great need of support. You are clear, action-oriented, responsible and have a good ability to work structured and independently. You are an empathetic and secure person with a solution-focused attitude, good collaboration skills and used to juggling many things at once. We believe that you are curious and creative in your work and that you have the ability to sort and prioritize what needs to be done both short-term and long-term. You have high social competence and are a relationship builder. You have a good ability to express yourself in speech and writing and can freely use both Swedish and English, and preferably several languages in activities with participants. You have good computer skills and see digital tools as enablers and are used to using them yourself and introducing and teaching others. We would like you to have experience leading both groups and individuals. You may have specific experience working with Swedish language learning in different ways and good knowledge of labor market units' mandate and work as well as the labor market field in general. Experience with change management and motivational conversations is requested. Training and experience with the BIP/Create method and training in Community Orientation are merits. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. You may be multilingual. B driver's license is a requirement.
