Our Mission Within the Coordinated Support Business Area, we provide coordinated services to job seekers and employers to shorten the time to sustainable employment and sustainable recruitment, and to prevent incorrect payments and crimes against the welfare system. We meet job seekers with significant support needs and employers who want to broaden their recruitment, based on our local presence and knowledge of the labor market. Job Description As an employment counselor within Coordinated Support, you work in depth with job seekers who need individual and often long-term support to enter or remain in the labor market. The work takes place primarily through face-to-face meetings and in close collaboration with employers, authorities, and other actors to coordinate services based on the individual's needs. You also work with employers based on skills supply needs and support them in broadening their recruitment. An important part of the assignment is to inform about the Swedish Public Employment Service's services, as well as rights and responsibilities, and provide support on the path to work. You also handle incoming cases by phone from both job seekers and employers with significant support needs. In this recruitment, we are primarily looking for employment counselors with a focus on strengthened cooperation with the Swedish Social Insurance Agency. In this role, you are responsible, together with your colleagues, for cooperation with the Swedish Social Insurance Agency regarding individuals in rehabilitation collaboration, which aims for individuals to develop or regain work capacity through the authorities' joint support. This includes, among other things, participating in joint mapping, planning, monitoring, and closure of interventions. The target group is people on sick leave and young people receiving activity compensation. The work involves handling cases in a lawful and careful manner in accordance with the regulations that govern our activities and mission. You need to be able to stand firm in your assessments and in the Swedish Public Employment Service's mission, and be able to handle both positive and negative decisions in a correct and respectful manner. You have good communication skills both verbally and in writing, can explain regulations, and can adapt your language to the situation. To succeed in your role, we see that you are comfortable with: - Interpreting and applying laws and regulations - Documenting information in a lawful and structured manner - Meeting and working with people and companies in different situations - Navigating and working in multiple systems in parallel - Working to achieve set goals - Conducting investigative and complex conversations - Having external contacts with, for example, the Swedish Social Insurance Agency, employers, and healthcare personnel. Visits can be both physical and digital. Our Offer The position is a permanent full-time employment that begins with a six-month probationary period. Start date by agreement. More about working with us Basic Requirements for the Position - University/college education of at least 180 higher education credits (120 credits according to the previous system) Alternatively - You have been employed as an employment counselor at the Swedish Public Employment Service and are assessed to have good prerequisites to meet today's requirements for employment counselors And - At least 2 years of work experience, a combined total of at least 50 percent during a total of 2 years - Good knowledge of Swedish, that is, a good ability to communicate in speech and writing, as well as high reading comprehension - B-Class Driver's License Additional Merits for the Position - Work experience in collaboration with other actors, such as authorities, municipalities, and partners - Work experience in work-oriented rehabilitation for individuals with different disabilities - Work experience with employer contacts based on sales, entrepreneurship, etc. - Work experience in public administration The state value system guides us in our daily work.
