Our Mission Within the Coordinated Support operational area, we provide coordinated services to job seekers and employers to shorten the time to sustainable employment and sustainable recruitment, as well as to prevent incorrect payments and violations of the welfare system. We meet job seekers with significant support needs and employers who want to expand their recruitment, based on our local presence and knowledge of the labor market. Our Workplace The current unit operates in Uddevalla and Trollhättan and consists of approximately 150 employees. Job Description As an employment specialist in Coordinated Support, you work in-depth with job seekers who need individual and often long-term support to enter or remain in the labor market. Work takes place primarily through in-person meetings and in close collaboration with employers, government agencies and other stakeholders to coordinate services based on individual needs. You also work with employers based on workforce supply needs and support them in broadening their recruitment. An important part of the role is to inform about the Swedish Public Employment Service's services and about rights and obligations, and to provide support on the path to work. You also handle incoming cases by phone from both job seekers and employers with significant support needs. To succeed in the role, you work in a structured manner and are confident in interpreting and applying laws and regulations. You document in a lawful manner, act professionally when meeting with people, and can navigate multiple systems at once. The role includes conducting investigative, guidance and sometimes complex conversations and working towards set goals. Your employment will begin with an introduction that gives you good conditions to succeed in your role as a civil servant. Our Offer The position is a permanent full-time employment that begins with a six-month probationary period. Start date by agreement. The work location is Trollhättan or Uddevalla. More About Working With Us Basic Requirements for the Position University/college degree of at least 180 higher education credits (120 credits according to the previous system) Alternatively You have been employed as an employment specialist at the Swedish Public Employment Service and are assessed to have good conditions to meet today's requirements for employment specialists And At least 2 years of work experience, a total of at least 50 percent work over a combined 2 years Very good knowledge of Swedish Class B driver's license Other Merits for the Position Experience with and knowledge of collaboration with other actors, such as government agencies, municipalities, partners and employers Work experience in interpreting and applying regulations Work experience in guidance and coaching Experience working with people with disabilities Experience with outreach activities toward employers The public sector values guide us in our daily work.
