We are now seeking an Operations Manager within our operations and maintenance activities for the Northern Svealand operations area. Your Assignment as Operations Manager As Operations Manager for Northern Svealand, you hold overall responsibility for the operations area, which consists exclusively of base maintenance contracts. You lead the operations through contractors and site managers, and are responsible for creating conditions for safe, well-functioning, and profitable operations. A central part of the assignment is to continue developing the area's profitability and create long-term sustainable results. You drive work to further develop work methods, strengthen structures, and ensure clear monitoring of the operations' goals, finances, and performance to create the best possible conditions for continued success. An important part of the assignment is to develop leadership within the operations area and create good conditions for site managers to succeed in their assignments. Through coaching, experience sharing, and close leadership, you contribute to strengthening both individuals, teams, and operations over time. You are expected to be close to the operations and have a good understanding of the challenges and opportunities that exist in the contracts. At the same time, it is important that you lead through your managers and create conditions for them to take responsibility for daily operations. Some of your main areas of responsibility: Responsible for operations results, profitability, and long-term development. Further develop work methods, structure, and monitoring to strengthen operations results over time. Lead, develop, and follow up on contractors and site managers. Create conditions for development and engagement in the organization. Ensure that operations are conducted with high quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. Drive improvement efforts and strengthen the area's competitiveness over time. Participate in market and bid work when required by the operations. Contribute actively to regional development as a member of the region's management group. The role involves travel within Northern Svealand and placement is arranged by agreement within the area. You are confident in your leadership and have the ability to make decisions that create long-term results for operations. For you, leadership is about creating the right conditions, building engagement, and helping others succeed while ensuring that operations deliver according to set goals. To succeed in the role, we see that you have: Experience from operations and maintenance activities. Experience from base maintenance contracts. Experience in management roles with personnel, operations, and results responsibility. Experience in leading and developing other managers or leaders. Good understanding of business, finances, profitability, and risk management. Experience with budget, forecast, and results monitoring. Very good knowledge of Swedish, spoken and written. B-driver's license. It is an asset if you have: Experience in an operations manager role, production manager role, or equivalent. Experience in change and improvement work in larger organizations. Experience in operations development with focus on profitability, structure, and monitoring. Part of Something Larger Svevia is today Sweden's largest operations contractor.
