Respite Care Provider – Give the family a breatherYou support a child at home so that guardians get their own time. Together you do safe and fun activities. Scope: approximately 3–6 hours/week. Companion – Create opportunitiesYou accompany a person with a disability in daily life – to activities such as walks, exercise, or a coffee break. Scope: approximately 3–6 hours/week. Contact Person – Become an important friendYou are social support and contribute to community and an active leisure time. Scope: approximately 8 hours/month. Terms and Working HoursThe assignments are flexible and hourly-based (contact person receives compensation). Working hours are usually evenings and weekends – easy to combine with studies or work. Decisions about respite care, companionship, and contact person services are made by the responsible social worker following individual needs assessment. Qualifications Required CompetencesGood knowledge of the Swedish language MeritoriousExperience working with children and young people or adults with various functional variations such as ADHD/Autism Relevant education Category B driver's license Social documentation We place great emphasis on personal suitability and conduct. To obtain employment, two different extracts from the Police's criminal records register (check of personal data and work with children with disabilities) must be presented. Our needs vary and based on current needs we call for interviews. Interviews take place continuously during the announcement's application period. For this application you need to answer a number of selection questions when you apply. Answers to the questions are used as part of the selection process.
