At the production facility in Alingsås, cable accessories for AC cables from 1 kV up to 420 kV as well as accessories for HVDC cables are manufactured. Manufacturing has been here since 1956, and the facility is a specialized factory for cable accessories used for safe and easy connections in distribution and transmission applications.
Job Description
As a test operator, you work with qualification tests and quality assurance of the company's products. The role involves significant personal responsibility where you independently drive your work forward, while also working closely with colleagues. The work is both technical and practical and takes place in an environment where safety and quality are always in focus.
Your main duties will be:
- Assembly of cable accessories
- Setup of test circuits
- Electrical measurements of various kinds
- Performing operator maintenance
- Documentation related to the measurements carried out
The position is based on a 2-shift schedule, but other shift arrangements may occur as needed.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who is organized, driven, and has a high safety mindset. You enjoy physical work and are unpretentious – here we help each other and support one another in daily work. You are a quick learner, solution-oriented, and have a genuine interest in technology. The work also requires thoroughness, responsibility-taking, and some sense of craftsmanship.
We would like to see that you have:
- Upper secondary education in electrical work, maintenance, industry, or equivalent experience
- Previous experience as, for example, an electrician, telecom technician, mechanic, or similar technical/industrial role
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English
Meritorious:
- Forklift certification
- Bridge crane certification
- Lift certification (scissor lift)
- Hot work
