As a technical specialist in building structures, you'll work with some of Sweden's most complex and societally critical infrastructure projects. The role suits you if you want to apply your technical expertise in bridge and building construction broadly - from technical review and design support to the development of working methods, regulations, and future solutions in the field. You'll become part of a national specialist network with high technical competence and work closely with project management, consultants, and contractors throughout the entire project chain. Work Tasks You will provide qualified technical support in our investment projects within road and rail. In the role, we work in different phases - from early planning and development of tender documentation to implementation and production. Here you contribute specialist knowledge in bridge and building construction and are responsible for ensuring that technical solutions and documents meet applicable requirements, regulations, and project goals. We're Looking for Someone Who has a civil engineering degree in Civil Engineering/Road and Water Construction with a focus on bridge structures, or alternatively another engineering education combined with work experience that Trafikverket deems equivalent. has many years of current and relevant work experience in assessing, managing, and independently preparing documentation for bridge structures. has current and relevant experience working with industry documents, applicable regulations, and frameworks within the field of building structures. has a driver's license for a private car has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written It is a Merit if You have many years of current and relevant work experience in design of bridge structures. have current and relevant experience working as a technical responsible or project manager regarding building structures. have current and relevant work experience from planning and construction of railways and/or roads. have current and relevant work experience from inspection of structural documentation regarding building structures in accordance with Trafikverket's regulations.
