Alma Assistans is a dedicated company that collaborates with clients to create personalized assistance. We work closely with our clients and know that good relationships are key to effective assistance. We operate throughout Sweden with our main office in Uppsala and local offices in Gävle, Stockholm, Gothenburg, Helsingborg, Jönköping, and Växjö.
I'm now looking to expand my wonderful assistant team and am seeking female personal assistants who can primarily work afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
There may also be occasional daytime shifts on weekdays when my regular daytime assistant is sick or needs time off – then you'd accompany me to gymnasium.
Who am I?
I'm 19 years old and live with my family in Gävle. During the day I attend gymnasium,
but once school is over, I love doing things! I have my own car that you'll drive, so you
need to have a manual driver's license to work for me.
Music, movies, walks, coffee breaks in town, shopping, and various activities are some of the things I
enjoy filling my free time with. Some days are calm – others have significantly more pace and
energy.
One thing I can promise: we're going to have fun together!
I have several disabilities and therefore need help and support in all parts of my
everyday life – at home, at school, and when I'm out doing various activities. Simply put: your
workplace is wherever I am.
I use a wheelchair and my transfers are done with a lift. Have you never used one before?
No problem – you'll receive the training you need.
Since I don't communicate verbally, it's especially important that you are attentive, observant, and
good at reading situations. You also need to be able to take initiative and understand when it's
time to help – and when it's time to let me be in control.

What does the job involve?
My support and care needs are extensive, which means you'll become an important part of my
everyday life.
You'll help me with personal hygiene, showering, dressing and undressing, transfers,
medicines, and feeding via PEG. You'll also help me with exercise, such as stretching,
and accompany me on activities and everything else that life entails.
This is therefore a job where personal chemistry, trust, and the ability to get to know me are
very important.
Have you previously worked as a personal assistant, preferably for a family? Do you have experience with
aids like lifts and wheelchairs or with tube feeding/PEG?
Great – that's a big plus!
But equally important is who you are as a person.
