Would you like practical and varied work where you solve problems, take responsibility, and work alongside a great and experienced team?
Prowork is now seeking a utilities installation technician and pipe fitter for our client—a well-established and growing company in water, sewer, and pipeline renovation. Here you'll work on socially important projects throughout the Mälarden region in a company with strong team spirit, low staff turnover, and excellent opportunities for development.
About the role:
As a skilled tradesperson, you'll be part of a cohesive team working with water, sewer, and utilities installation. Projects vary in both size and duration, primarily located around Stockholm and the Mälarden region.

The work includes:
Pipe fitting and water/sewer work
Excavation and site restoration
Working from blueprints
Installing temporary water lines
Relining
Building and assembling excavation boxes
Field welding of small pipes and water/sewer components
Connections to properties
Collaboration with excavator operators and other tradespeople
Who are we looking for?
Above all, we're looking for the right person with the right attitude.
You need experience in utilities installation and/or pipe fitting, but you don't need to know everything from day one. More important is that you're practical, take responsibility, and enjoy finding solutions when circumstances change.
We see that you:
Have experience in utilities installation and/or pipe fitting
Hold a valid driver's license (Category B)
Speak and write Swedish fluently
Comfortable with physical outdoor work year-round
Are self-driven, flexible, and solution-oriented
Are a team player who contributes to a positive work environment
It's a strong advantage if you have PE welding experience.
Qualifications such as APV, Safe Lifting, Safe Excavation, hygiene certification, chainsaw operation, or machinery experience are also valuable.
Why apply:
Here you'll have the opportunity to join a stable employer that invests long-term in its staff. The team consists of both highly experienced tradespeople and younger colleagues, and the culture is characterized by helping each other and sharing knowledge.
For the right person, there are also excellent opportunities to develop and take on more responsibility over time—several employees have progressed from tradespeople to supervisory roles.
You'll be offered:
Competitive salary based on experience, skills, and responsibility
Wellness allowance
Private health insurance
Occupational health services and health check-ups
Collective agreement
Reduced working hours
Excellent development opportunities
An employer with strong focus on team spirit, security, and work-life balance
Practical information:
Location: Mälarden region, with projects mainly in the Stockholm area and southern Mälarden
Scope: Full-time
