We are seeking a construction worker for our client in Stockholm! We accept applications on a rolling basis throughout the fall, so don't hesitate to submit your CV.
Job Description:
In this assignment, you will work on earthworks and civil engineering projects in Stockholm and the Mälardalen region. Work tasks may include excavation, pipe and utility work, foundation work, backfilling, fine grading, stonework, and other related earthworks. The work is performed both independently and in teams according to drawings, layout, and site supervision.
The client would like you to be able to read and understand work drawings and instructions, as well as have a basic understanding of excavation, utility placement, and backfilling. You should also be able to use common hand tools and work equipment, and have an understanding of safety and risks when working in and around excavations.
Requirements:
• Relevant experience in earthworks and civil engineering.
• Ability to work independently and take responsibility for assigned tasks.
• Good work ethic, punctuality, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to follow workplace safety, health, and quality requirements.
• Own basic work clothing.
• Class B driver's license.
• Fluency in Swedish or English.
Merit:
• Experience with water/sewage, fiber, cable, excavation, foundation work, or fine grading.
• Experience with stonework and restoration work.
• Experience with drawing interpretation and layout work.
• Experience from large construction projects or infrastructure projects.
Trade certificates or training certificates for excavators are advantageous and may be required depending on the assignment. Any specific requirements for machine certifications, training, or other certificates will be specified for each assignment.
The assignment is expected to start immediately and is an ongoing assignment.
