We are now looking for you who want to combine technical expertise, structure, and problem-solving in the role of Change Technician for our client in the defense industry. Here you will have a central role in coordinating material changes and working closely with production.
About the Role
In this role, you are responsible for coordinating and managing changes to materials that have already been developed. You ensure that the material is upgraded to the correct revision, either internally at the customer or at suppliers. The changes may concern ongoing assembly, already delivered units, or materials that need to be adjusted retroactively. The role is both operational and administrative – you work closely with production, follow up changes on-site, and handle cases in our systems.
Examples of Work Tasks
Receive and interpret change orders to understand what needs to be adjusted
Assess whether the change can be performed internally or if the material needs to be returned to the supplier
Coordinate with procurement to obtain quotes and place orders
Manage production orders and follow-up in SAP
Structure and follow up a large number of cases via your own documents
Be hands-on in production: pick materials, follow up mechanical adjustments, and arrange transport to suppliers
Ensure that updated material arrives at the warehouse or is replaced on assembled products, even at the customer's site if needed
Requirements
Postsecondary technical education
Strong interest in technology and mechanics
Very good system proficiency and experience with business systems
Good knowledge of Swedish and English
