In your role as an analytical chemist, you'll become a key player in innovative projects and contribute directly to people's health and well-being. Assignment duration, scope, and exact responsibilities vary, but typically range from 6–12 months and primarily include projects in early product development (EPDM) and oral product development (OPD), though other areas may apply. Depending on the assignment, responsibilities may include quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) as well as research and development (R&D). Analytical methods will vary with the assignment, but common analytical techniques include HPLC, UPLC, LC/MS, GC/MS, and NMR. We're looking for someone who is scientifically curious with a strong quality mindset. You work methodically and systematically and are comfortable with both independent work and team collaboration. Responsibilities Qualitative and quantitative analysis. Analytical methods may include techniques such as HPLC, UPLC, LC/MS, GC/MS, and NMR Quality work such as routine testing, method development, and validation Documentation in accordance with GMP guidelines, as well as deviation management (OOS and CAPA investigations) Maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment and instruments Qualifications Requirements Bachelor's or master's degree (BSc, MSc, BEng, MEng) in chemistry, chemical engineering, pharmacy, or equivalent relevant field At least 2–5 years of experience in regulated laboratory work Documented experience with chemical analysis, primarily chromatographic methods High degree of accuracy and precision Very good proficiency in both Swedish and English (spoken and written) Desirable Experience with validation and/or quality work About the Company Randstad At Randstad, we know that everyone has a place in the job market.
