About the Swedish Prison and Probation Service The Swedish Prison and Probation Service is growing – we are building new facilities, renovating, and expanding, and we are now seeking additional employees. We are the authority responsible for prisons, probation services, remand centers, and prisoner transport. The Statistics Section is part of the Management Office. The section consists of 18 employees and its main task is to drive and develop the authority's statistical activities and digitalization of the authority's monitoring solutions. The work includes producing various types of analyses and statistical publications to contribute to a transparent and knowledge-driven correctional system. The section assists external stakeholders with the delivery of statistics and analyses. The section is also responsible for management in the area of governance and monitoring. The work aims to provide input for decision-making and improved analytical capacity as well as support efficient and quality-assured operational management. This includes, among other things, supporting operations in making operational monitoring accessible by driving the development of statistical systems/BI solutions. Job Description As an analyst with focus on digitalization, you are responsible for operations-related management and drive digitalization in this area. This includes, among other things, being responsible for identifying and compiling the operations' needs. The work also includes coordinating, prioritizing, and planning activities in the short and long term as well as leading, directing, and following up on the work. You drive digitalization efforts in close dialogue with the responsible stakeholder and in collaboration with experts within operations and digitalization. Possible placement locations for the position are Norrköping, Stockholm, Örebro, or Malmö.
